Bardessono is not only a luxury hotel, restaurant and spa, it is the environmental leader of the Napa Valley hospitality industry. A LEED Platinum development, the hotel offers a peaceful, relaxing and beautiful way for guests to connect with Napa in ways that are beyond their expectations. We provided a brand messaging framework, art direction and design of a complete web experience, along with new tools for rapid content updates, tracking and reporting for hotel staff.

Serving a diverse range of silicon valley clients, this marketing agency required a refresh of its identity, collateral and web presence at a time when its service offering was expanding. Our approach was to make McDougall distinctive in the restraint of its visual identity through the use of a simple color palette and measured typographic application.

MotorMouths is the first free online resource for new car reviews, providing a full range of opinions from credible, published critics in one place. Summaries from car review sites, along with a consistently generated score, allow users to quickly see how any car in the US market is perceived by professional critics. The interface was designed specifically to make this information-gathering tool as elegant and simple as possible.

For this photographer’s site, we wanted an online portfolio that allows visitors to quickly navigate a range of artwork, without having to go too deep into multiple pages. This needed to be achieved with an almost purely visual interface, simple layout and site architecture. The results allow for a whole category of images to be scrolled through on one page.
